Morning Suzie. Sorry for keeping you on the blog last night. Today is my first test for the Census and hopefully the winter advisory will not be for here. So far, it is just going to be high winds.

I knew the snow was going there today since it was here 2 days ago.

Janet ....is the test all knowledge ...or you had something to study from???

The pay is good, but the mileage checks are better and don't count a income.
You work the hours or days you want and can probably choose the areas to work.

Janet ...plus ...your area would be easier ....more mountains and hills...not too many places to stick a street ....you have to see this Island ...everytime I see a new block ...going in ....and street name ....I only Pray the 911 System has their information programmed in .....

It is a lot of fun and you meet a lot of people. Volunteer???? No pay. You can pick and choose your days and hours.

If you get a supervisors position, all you do is check people's work.

The PO gets the addresses first and supplies them to 911.

That's another job that will be available, writing in new homes and streets on the maps. Most of the jobs right now are going to last 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 years.

I may want to do mapping for the mileage checks, lol, but if I get supervisor, I will just have to check their work.
