Ive heard some ...911 calls ...that were a bad thing!!!! (ouch!)

Do you have a scanner? I did in Brooklyn, but not here. Too boring.

Just some advice for the day ...before I go


Needs to know for making a 911 Call:


- give Boro 1st ----> Bklyn,Queens,Staten Island,Bronx,Manhattan-etc


- Non-English speaking ----> state language --> connected to translator


- Address ----> talk slow and clear


- Cross streets (sometimes the cross streets are different on their comp)


- whats happening ----> you need Cops, Ambulance, Firemen
- try to stay CALM


- you can say you want to remain ...annonymous


- if you dont like what the 911 Operator is telling you --ask for their Supv


- if not ...call back again ..most likely you'll get another 911 Operator




Please try to remain calm.....you can truly save a life ....by listening to the steps ....to actually save someone.....so breathe in and out and listen!

LOL, I do have enhanced 911 where they see exactly where you live. Actually, my neighbor said a 911 guy was up here the other day checking addresses.
