anonymousHi Patsy - missed you this am. How are you? I saw that Timmy Fox was on the blog - I can't tell you how many memories of the Club came back, what a time that was!
Glad that Anthony is okay, I could just feel everyone's concern - what a great gift friendship is. -

Franny - good luck with the house sale, I went through that a year ago. It's really nice to feel like you're leaving your home to someone who will take care of it.
Hello Loretta Falcone (Napoli) - thanks for your 'good wishes' - any survival tips from you will be appreciated. NICE to MEET YOU - guess we'll meet at the Reunion in September. I love your name - my families on both sides are from Naples (Cassetta).
I'm sure this is a shot in the dark - but I do have a cousin who married a Napoli (Peter). Not recalling where he was from. My cousin's name was Anna Coppa (from 41 St & 3rd). I remember he had a cousin, think her name was Joanne (not sure) - we went to Bay Ridge together (actually met after our cousins married). Any relation?
Ciao..... -

I remember how drunk Charlie was and the adventure in the 'truck' as Terry would suggest she had to drive. Do you remember there was
the bridge jumper that night and we drove home on Hylan Blvd with
all the cop cars..
I had 'drunk' Judy in my passenger seat and we just laughed all the
way cause we didn't have a clue where we were going - and had to
call you in the car. Then Judy and I stopped a block short and went
to the wrong house. Some old guy was looking out of what we thought was Terry's window. LOL... We peed our pants all night.... with laughter, and without Depends. Remember the barnswallow!
Thanks for the memory!
Love xxx
Terry If you're reading - I am going to call you in 10 Minutes. I still
don't have a voice (lots better) so if you hear something honking on the
phone it is me.
-
t-bone51that reunion night just topped everything off. our pj party was great and the next day with Mia and cousin Ralphie suarato at the diner. ANOTHER GOOD TIME in the life of the grid iron girls. -
anonymousHi Franny - the best advice I can give you is to pace yourself! I'm sure it took years to collect all of the stuff in your old house, don't try to get it all into place in your new home in a day or two...or even a couple of weeks. Take your time, give it some thought so that you're not moving stuff multiple times - it will save your back, too.
The one thing that I found to be helpful was to mark each box I packed with a number & then make a list with each number & what that box contains - it takes some time, but when you need to know what particular box your scisssors (or whatever) are in, you can find it on your list - you won't have to go through 3 or 4 boxes before you find what you need. The other thing I did was to mark each box (as best as you can) with the room that the box should go in - this will also save you from shlepping boxes from room to room. Most importantly, remember...Rome wasn't built in a day!! -
debbie bonavita mccarthyNothing from Anthony yet??? -
debbie bonavita mccarthyHi Loretta, i think you knew my sister Edith. Right? -
t-bone51Hi Deb and Loretta,
No word on Umbria. He better be ok and if he is I am going to 26th Street myself and kick his ass and I think I will take Suzie with me LOL -
debbie bonavita mccarthyHi Terry I hope he's okay!!!!!!!!!! It's so not like him to check in at least once a day. -
anonymousHi Debbie - I knew Edith well & your mom & dad. I remember one Christmas Eve, we were about 15 or so, a bunch of us (do you remember Terry Tufano?) were going to Midnight Mass & we stopped at your house - you had a houseful. Your dad, Mr. B was what we called him, offered us a drink. I asked him for a "Scotch & Coke" - I thought he'd never stop laughing & rolling his eyes...he was really great, as were your mom and, of course, Edie.
How are your sisters? -
debbie bonavita mccarthyI love to hear stories about my parents. LOL My sisters and brothers are all doing well thank God!!! I saw Terry Tufano a few years ago at a mutual friends weddng. -
pintohi guys.......sorry i worried some of you.....i just wasn't feeling good
...................
-
anonymousHi Terry - how's your son feeling tonight? Don't ya just love the gray hairs your kids give you! God Bless sons (I have one, too - it's a good thing God made 'em cute or you'd just have to kill 'em!)
Hope all is okay with Anthony.
Franny - forgot to mention, don't think any of my husband's family came from Brooklyn, Napoli has to be one of the most common Italian names..if I had a piece of every Pizzeria & bakery named Napoli, I'd be rich! Too bad, I'd love to be "rollin in dough" LOL...geez I can't believe i said that, how goofy. -
debbie bonavita mccarthyHey Joe, are you okay??? -
t-bone51DEB,
As I read Loretta's notes I feel as though it was just yesterday My Michael (33) was standing outside your Mom and Dad's house wanting to go home and play with his match box cars and they would be talking and talking. LOL
My son always remembers that. He said Poppy and Grandma never went home after church without stopping and talking to Big Nick and Dee -
