I even hate when an owner of a property leaves it there instead of painting over or washing it. I have twice in the past went up to 2 owners. It helped.

Anthony - I hope you don't stay away - I love reading your posts, you make me laugh - that's a special gift!!

Terri - hope your party went well yesterday and that your son enjoys his time in Italy. So sorry to hear about your fence problems - it really sucks when you bust your ass to make a nice home and someone disrespects it - I live near a H.S. and I always hold my breath when I come home from work - kids can be so unpredictible. I hope you get all of the graffiti washed off - as if you need more work!

Loretta......the manicure/pedicure was great. It's what I needed!!! I'm very nervous today, don't know how I'll last the day. I'm having surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Debbie - great hospital Glad you're going in to Manhattan. Lenox probably has a ton of experience with your type of surgery & that's very important for getting the very best outcome - you'll be in the very best of hands. Do you like your surgeon?

I do, he's the top in that field so I'm very comfortable with him. But, being me, I'm expecting the worse!!!! I feel sick to my stomach today. I can't wait for all this to be over. It's sooooo stressfull.

If you weren't nervous & stressed, you'd be nuts! The anticipation and the waiting are always the worst. I think Suzie said sometime earlier to think about after it's over - sounds like good advice. What time do you have to be there - I hope it's early so that you don't have to wait around too long!

What have you got planned for today?

The nurse will call me today to let me know what time tomorrow. Today I'm just gonna make sure my house is clean, again!!!! That's all I've been doing. I feel like my mother!!!!!!! I really just have laundry to catch up on. My husband is out, my 2 girls are going shopping and my son's going to his friends house so i'll be alone. Not good.

Cleaning the house - spoken like a real Mom! You know, we are the stronger sex!!!

It's funny, I was looking at your photo & boy, do you remind me of your Mom! I remember that she was always changing things in your house - she was always redecorating something - she really had the touch! I am sure that she, your dad & Edie are looking out for you - they are your personal angels! Pray to them for strength. My husband died almost 10 years ago & I say a special prayer (more like a chat, actually) when I'm really worried about something - I know he's looking out for me - it never fails to help bring me a sense of peace. I don't mean to get all sappy, just trying to share what works -
