I am just thinking about it. I can't take the cold so now I have to start getting rid of a lot of things starting with clothes, books, etc on Ebay, lol.

Good Morning Debbie, how do you feel? I got bumped off and had to reload the browser.

Not too bad, it's just hard to sleep. I can't get comfortable sleeping on one side.

I have to do that because of a torn rotator cuff. I think I slept 4 hours last night.

Does it feel a lot better without the stitches?

i keep getting bumped off too - frustrating when you just want to communicate, but anyway, janet, what i was trying to tell you is to try craig's list too for selling. i just sold my lenox there, hopefully my car soon.

I just got involved in a scam on Craig's List for renting my apartment downstairs, lol.

The guy sent me a check for way over the amount for 2 months rent and then I realized that he wanted me to refund him most of it for his TRAVEL expenses. DUH !!! I called the bank and put them on notice about the check, and of course it was a fake.

They figure that you will send the money before the bank realizes that it is a bad check.!!!!

Oh no!!! I got my last and present tenants from craigslist. So far I've been lucky.

No, I realized it must be a scam as soon as I received the check. But deposited it a few days later to make sure. Then I panicked and called the bank. There was no way I would send him a refund and since then I emailed him and told him the check was no good, and haven't heard from him again, lol.

did u report it? you should make a page there telling people about this. i had something similiar happen there when trying to sell something once - outsmarted him though - yet sometimes it's legit.

Well, if they are from out of the country, it's probably Nigerians doing basically the same scam. They even buy items and send you extra, and then ask you to wire them the difference, lol.

After you send them the difference, your bank bounces the check!!

yes yes janet - that's exactly what this guy tried to do with me!!!!!!!!!

I wrote Craig's List, and also GMail & another one that wrote used Yahoo.
