I am so cold. The cold from the snow is just radiating through the windows and doors.
Even with heavy slipper socks, my feet are frozen.

at this point, I don't think Spring is ever coming, lol, and we have 2 more months of this to look forward to here. It stops snowing in April, brrrrrrrrrrr.

If you want to see a good movie, go see Slumdog Millionaire, it is really good. I watched it last night.

Even though it is depressing conditions some of the kids grow up in, it is very inspiring etc.

uplifting, couldn't think of the right words, lol.

OK, guess everyone is watching the E channel, and waiting for the Oscars !!

Hi -- going to be a quick 'hit and run' - unbeliveable few days. Getting to
see 'family' - who are visiting others... It's been great - too much eating,
though... Clear the table and then set for next meal....


Janet, the Italian Festival was a bomb. Mostly kids' rides, some food, and one or two booths to buy things. I enjoyed a booth with all maps
of every region in Italy, they had all kinds of maps displayed... Regions
by Pasta, was a fun one. But we met some family there and they came
back here and we ate pastries from the Festival, drank home-made wine,
and espresso....

Was only joking when I said March 19th celebration. Actually, St, Joseph
Day was/is a special day in many Italian households. We always celebrated because we had so many Uncle Joe's LOL.. and I was born
on that day. As you plan your trip, let me know the details - sounds
like fun to do with you and Geri... One variable will be when Frank has
his surgery.. Nothing planned yet..

Yes, I did see Slumdog Milliionaire... Other than the 'violent' parts, and
the reality of it - I thought it was an EXCELLENT MOVIE! I would also
recommend.

Just teasing you. Her name was Yusefa (spelling in Polish??) meaning Josephine, which is the name she used.

I can't get Mildred on the phone and of course I worry. She always answers.

I'm going to run inside and eat a St. Joseppe Pastry now. They had
them at the Festival and I made sure I got one... Great appetizer,
pre-dinner? Gosh, I diddn't realize what time it is....


TERRY - We ate your cake again today.... The "Brooklyn" is all gone
now.. Some "Rocks" letters still available for dessert LOL... So please
know you got your money's worth... and it has been enjoyed by many..
