HAD SOME TRAGEDY IN HER LIFE AT THAT TIME.
HER SON'S FATHER HAD DROWNED & I REMEMBER BEING THERE W/HER THAT NIGHT IT HAPPENED. IT WAS HORRIBLE. BUT SHE CAME A LONG WAY SINCE THAN.

Suzie: Loretta and I went to John Jay - since Gail was from 11th Street and Loretta came from 12th St. they probably did hang out together. I came from Prospect Ave. only saw Loretta at school. We have now reconnected through Classmates and have been in contact for about 5 years now.

On a 10 min brake at work. I saw Felix's mentioned here somewhere and I'll relate a very funny story.
I used to go there all the time with my family(yes we walked from 12 to 18st.
I'm Irish so we always had spaghetti & MB or lasagna.
When I was older I went with friends and decided to get adventuresome and asked Chubby( He and his wife were the best) what this (these were my actual words)Sgungilly and Calmarty were.After he finished laffin for about 10 mins he explained and I ordered Spags & MB.

Today I cook that and many other Italian meals I never could even pronounce. Yes I married Italian girls. I may be Irish but I'm not STUPID

Keep trying to remember and I'm sure you'll come up with some help on my quest.

Hi Everyone:
It's slow in work today so Ihave a few minutes
for some more info regarding Billy Johnson.

Last I remember his parents moved to 13st tween 4-5th. I believe he had a younger sister although I can't remember her name. Maybe some of you went to school with her. She probably went to PS 124 then either John Jay or Bay Ridge. She would have been around my brothers -age 18 in 1969. This might jog some memories.

i remember a heavy set girl from 13th street or maybe 14th street my age went to bayridge high school. her first name was elizabeth and i thin k her mom dies when we were in hs. now i was 18 in 1969 and hung out down 13th street when i was 14 15 yrs old

Yes I was from the neighbor hood I was born & raised on 22nd street & 4th Avenue until my early twenties, after marriage we move away, but I meet my wife in St. Roccos when they had Friday nights dances in those days.
I did remember a few people from that area Carol Giamino, Phyllis Rella, Frankie Wiggles, Frenchie, Minafo boys.

I met Pat a few years back while visiting Lucia and her friend Toni.
Hope she is doing OK.

Hi Jim: As far as I know Pat is fine. My sister and her brother divorced so I don't see Pat. Her brother passed away last year.
