Did you check out the STA reunion. I forgot that was on there and there are a lot of the people from St Thomas as well as the neighborhood.
There are pictures of me, Pete Sacco, Lucia, Pat Meenan, Liz sicker, Elieen Howard plus all the people of 6-7-8 St.
So if anyone wants to check it out and let me know.

karendrittoWow, I'm gone a few weeks and we have new people! Welcome everyone! Jim - I have 2 friends in Union Beach - one on 6th St. and the other on Scholer Ave.
Thank goodness the worst is over at work (I'm still employed) and it's business as usual.
Terry - we need to get together about the reunion. Let me know what day's good for you. (I bunked into AnnaMarie in the mall - she said it's time to plan for dinner again.)
I just heard it's 62 out - I can't wait to get out of here and enjoy some sun, warmth and daylight.
Going to finish up for the day. Take care all - hope to be back tomorrow. -

judy giordano banjanyHey, I can't remember if Geri did her "Joke of the Day" today, but anyway here is a funny one!!!!!
A guy stuck his head into a barbershop and asked,
'How long before I can get a haircut?
The barber looked around the shop full of customers and said, 'About 2 hours.'
The guy left
A few days later, the same guy stuck his head in the door and asked,
How long before I can get a haircut?'
The barber looked around at the shop and said, 'About 3 hours.'
The guy left.
A week later, the same guy stuck his head in the shop and asked,
'How long before I can get a haircut?'
The barber looked around the shop and said, 'About an hour and a half.'
The guy left.
The barber turned to his friend and said,
'Hey, Bob, do me a favor. Follow that guy and see where he goes.
He keeps asking how long he has to wait for a haircut,
but then he doesn't ever come back.'
A little while later, Bob returned to the shop, laughing hysterically. The barber asked,
So, where does that guy go when he leaves?'
Bob looked up,
wiped the tears from his eyes and said,
'Your house!' -

MY GRANDMOTHER MAMIE ORLANDO LIVED ON 22 ST BTWN 4/5 AVES. DANNY THE BUTCHER WAS MY GRANDFATHER
I don't know if I ever told you, but I thought that Mamie was great as was Danny.
I will never forget Danny, I realized the other day, because every time I fillet chicken cutlets to make them thinner, I think of him. I used to watch him fillet the meat at the butcher shop and that's how I learned to do it.
But Mamie made me laugh all the time. -
