THEY FIRST OPENED. HE WAS THEIR TREASURER FOR YEARS. GREAT MAN. HE ALWAYS HELPED SET UP & PREPARE FOR THE FEAST ON 21ST STREET.

A bag of cole slaw mix- two tablespoons of mayo(you can use light),
1/2 cup Kens Vadalia Onion Dressing, 1/8-1/4 cup apple cider vinagar(use more or less to you taste), salt & pepper. Mix and let marinate at least 2-3 hours but overnight is best. You can add caraway or fennel seeds if you like. It beats $4 a pound in the deli. PS I've made it and it's good.

I am so sad, I am riding the bike and writing on here so I can vent and keep busy. My friend Marie has never raised her voice, said anything bad about anyone, i never even heard her curse. She was full of life. At parties we had so much fun always on the dance floor. Even 2 weeks ago when I saw her she still had a smile on her face with all pain.
I just cry thinking of her little Christopher, 5 years old. Her Corey is my son Jonathan's best friend he is in denial.
Oh Dear God just watch over all of them.

Patsy- you look very fimiliar(don't tell my wife) although I gotta be MUCH older then you. If any of them are my age-still in my 50's(59 HaHa) and hung out around 11-12 st 5th ave maybe. Where did they go to school?

JIM, THAT RECIPE LOOKS DELICIOUS AND DOES THE PIES TOO WILL TRY AROUND EASTER I AM A GOOD COOK, BUT I CAN HONESTLY SAY I HAVE NVERE TRIED MAKING A GRAIN OR MEAT PIE. MY AUNT LAURA USUALLY MAKES THEM FOR ME OR MY STEPMOM WHO IS A GREAT COOK & BAKER

WE MUST PRAY FOR HER CHILDREN THAT THEY STAY STRONG & HAVE GOOD & HEALTHY LIVES!!!

Hi All - saw Ralphie's recipe for meat pie but missed the others, please send to me karen.dritto@pillsbury law.com (I miss my mother and her sisters making the pies and a very, very big mess at this time of the year)! How about a good grain pie one? I haven't made a meat pie since my mom died in 01 but am willing to try again.

Anybody know - is it cheaper to blacktop a driveway or concrete? My driveway is ugly and am looking for a cheap alternative to my weeds. Better yet, anybody have someone who'll do it?

Thanks for the coleslaw recipe Jim. I'll try it - I love coleslaw (but then again, I love food and desserts and bread, and ....)
