debbie bonavita mccarthyIt does make you feel proud to see them doing what the like and doing it without us!!! LOL I always get teary eyed. But we should be proud of our children, they are healthy and good kids and that's what counts. -
janet m horanJeanette, Geri & Terry in reference to lead pencil licking, lol:
Curious George: When preparing to write with a pencil (the old-fashioned kind that needs to be sharpened, as opposed to an automatic one), why do some people lick the tips of the pencil lead?

Perhaps the extra moisture helps the graphite leave a darker mark -- but this seems to be a unique habit of older people. Maybe they used to enjoy that special tingly sensation of slow lead poisoning and find it hard to break the habit?
It was LEAD after all, and now they use graphite. -

geriob1Joke of the Day......
I was packing for my business trip and my three year old daughter was having a wonderful time playing on the bed. At one point she said, "Daddy, look at this", and stuck out two of her fingers.
Trying to keep her entertained, I reached out and stuck her tiny fingers in my mouth and said, "Daddy's gonna eat your fingers," pretending to eat them.
I went back to packing, looked up again and my daughter was standing on the bed staring at her fingers with a devastated look on her face.
I said, "What's wrong, honey?"
She replied, "What happened to my booger?" -
geriob1Have a wonderful day my favorite bloggers... -

Good Morning, hey you guys should apply for a special parking permit from the city, it enables you to park at a lot of spaces such as NO PARKING AT ANY TIME, NO PARKING EXCEPT AUTHORIZED VEICELS, and you don't have to put any change in the parking meters, & for people that live were there is alternate side parking you don't ave to move your car.
 just go to WWW.NYC.GOV -
