maureen horanJanet,
I hope we can see one another when you are here. Are you planning any Disney days during this trip? I own a company that does private tours through Disney and Universal (www.orlandoparktours.com) so I will be busy during the school break time but want to find time so I can meet you. If you're going to one of the parks, I'll take you around and avoid the lines! And boy, are there lines! I just got back from Epcot and it is packed.
It is so wonderful to connect with you here and to connect with Joe Pinto, who is just as nice now as he was back in the 60's. And he was one terrific kid.
How did the whole thing here get started and when? So glad it did. -
maureen horanSubject: Thanks for the welcome and a memory of Ralph Marsella
Thanks to all for the warm welcomes. I'm feeling very lucky to have found this. Is there anyone else here from 18th Street between 5th and 6th or from St John's class of '67?
Also, I have been on a motorcycle just once in my life and it was Ralph Marsella who took me for a ride around the block. When we got back, I played a nice record I had just gotten that day and he hadn't heard yet. It was "Go Now" by the Moody Blues. I have no idea why I still remember that. -

timfoxHello everyone, Happy Palm Sunday. Been reading the past posts, boy have you guys been busy. Hey Jim , thanks for the walk down 5th ave. Wasn't there an A & P on 5th bet prospect and 16th? Hi Ralph -

pintoWell Palm Sunday is almost over, the sun is starting to go down. It was a beautiful day,and hopefully the start of a beautiful holy week. We should all be grateful for what we have,....a home,a good family, food to eat, good friends. We (and myself included) tend to forget how good we have it.
I stress about not having a job,but I do have a roof over my head. I have food to eat....and plenty of food at that.....a good wife and children.
I get sad when I see my mom,and see how sick she is....but also I try to tell myself everyday, how fortunate I was to have her all these years...plus she has been in great health ,up until a year ago.
I have my talent to play drums...other then my family....my only true passion
I made some mistakes in life, made some bad calls, but all of that history is what made me the person I am today. For better or for worst.
In the past three days, there have been three mass murders...all by guns.
I'm not going to preach about how I feel about firearms, here, today.
Today is the beginning of the holiest week in the Catholic religion.
Today I just what to say...maybe to myself more then anyone else...Thank GOD for what I do have.....It's more than so many others
......................GOD BLESS ALL OF US.......... -
pinto...GOOD TO SEE YOU TIM -

timfoxa bad easter joke
Murphy is digging a hole in his backyard, building a pond, and keeps hitting a rock. No matter where he digs he hits this rock. Its pretty hard so he gets the idea that maybe someone can do something with it. sure enough a manufacturer says 'Gee! This stuff is really hard, we could make nails out of this. we'll call it Murphy's nails and we'll advertise it. we'l call you and let you know when its on.
A week passes and Murphy gets a call to watch at a certain time for this comercial. The sun comes up and there is a picture of Jesus on the cross with the caption ' Brought to you by Murphy's nails'.
Murphy calls the company and complains 'You can't advertise like that. I'm Irish catholic, you can't put my name to something like that. They'll be looking to crusify me'. The company apoligizes and tells Murphy that they will change the ad and call him when its ready.
A week passes and Murphy gets the call and is watching television.
The sun goes up and the sun goes down and Jesus is running down the road with 2 roman soldiers, swords drawn, chasing him. One soldier turns to the other and says ' He'd of never gotten off if we had used Murphy's nails'. -
timfoxJoe, You have a great face, Keep it on LOL -
timfoxJoe, I read where your doctor told you to lose the weight. I was diagnosed with diabetes on Feb 19. and told to lose weight. so far I've lost 16 lbs. another 5 - 10 and i won't have to take the medication. so lose the weight or its drugs and they're worse than the disease. -
jeanette lagrecaJOE, I WAS VERY TOUCHED WHAT YOU WROTE IT IS VERY SAD TO SEE OUR PARENTS SO SICK, AND US AS THEIR CHILDREN ARE HELPLESS TO HELP THEM. THE ONLY THING WE CAN DO IS SIT BUY THEIR BEDSIDE HOLD THERE HAND AND TELL THEM HOW MUCH WE LOVE THEM, AND PRAY TO GOD THEY NOT SUFFERING. I KNOW YOUR HAVING SOME BAD TIME RIGHT NOW.SOONER THEN YOU KNOW, SOMETHING GOOD IS GOING TO TURN UP FOR YOU.
