Terry - what's the Jonathan update? This swine flu is very scary.
I watched the Amazing Race last night. I do not like the 'sisters' at all
anymore - and hope they don't win. While I'd prefer the mom & son to win - the 'cheerleaders' are growing on me. Maybe they can do a geriatic version for us, where contestants can use wheelchairs and cruches. We'd WIN!

I wanted to ask you about the yacht club. If we have the same amount of people as we did last year, it will be crowded and hot, and much worse if there are more.

As Joe said --- you can't make this stuff up......


5:00 AM - I decide to take Frasier for a little peepee walk.
Walked in front of house since it is more lit up than the back.

Came into the house.. And by time I walked back into the
bedroom there were cop cars blocking the corner (we're
one house off the corner) and I see a cop looking into
the yard next door. Of course I was 1/2 naked so didn't
go back out to him. (Thought, perhaps someone thought
I was a prowler, and called cops on me??)

Then there were other cop cars blocking the other end of
street. So I went around and locked all the doors....
They were here till at least 6 when I fell back to sleep.

So this morning I called the police station - they said they
were looking for someone - and they found 'them' (very
non-challantly, she said this). I asked "should I be worried
about sitting here in my own yard at night?" - it is scary
cause it is dark and like a jungle - and I've thought of this possibility someone peering in from back there.

So I'm hoping it was some old person who wandered off,
and not a convict or prowler. Funny, I move to a beautiful
'beach town' and for the first time in my life, I'm not
totally comfy in my back yard. Guess backyard lighting
will eventually have to move up on the priority list...
someday....

I don't know how to answer all these emails from people asking about it so I was thinking as someone suggested, having a meeting on the blog on a specific night at a set time for them to come on and ask.

Terry, we had about 140 and there was no place for us to sit. Remember, 6 of us sat in the alley way, lol. People were sweating their rear ends off and there were only the 2 small bathrooms, lol.
