HI GUYS.....REGARDING THE REUNION....I WANT TO PLAY WITH THE BAND, BUT IF IT'S OUTDOORS OR IN A SMALL PLACE, IT MAY NOT WORK OUT.
....ALSO, IF WE DO GET TO PLAY, THEN MAYBE SOME OF THE OTHER MUSICIAN FRIENDS WE HAVE COMING , COULD ALSO GET UP AND DO A SONG OR TWO....THAT WOULD REALLY BE COOL....
.....SO ,BOTTOM LINE FOR ME IS.....WHAT EVER PLACE THAT CAN HAVE THE GROUP PERFORM IN.

Subject: fes' take on where to have the reunion and how

ok, my take on where to have it is the yacht club again.
it will re-capture the magic of the original reunion like no other place can, for one.

RE: the potty situation? God, I know when i gotta go, i find a place. be it the facilities they offer, or next door at the marina cafe, and the guys could always find a nice tree, lol. (just kidding...)

RE: capacity of people? if those tables that were there last year, were removed this year, that place could easily fit another 100 people, hey we're slopers! we know how to adjust!
...all we would need is folding chairs if we want to sit, i know i didn't sit for one minute last year just socializing, and i loved it! but for the peeps that want to, have to, the chairs would be there for them. it would be like "way back when" when the mom's brought their chairs out after dinner to shoot the breeze with neighbors. some can sit here, some there.

RE: food i say everyone that comes, brings a dish.
that would elimate the person in charge of setting the reunion up, a really big headache dealing with the eats.
...because whoever comes, comes... and they would have food to eat, and then share in each others lil feasts, and the person who is organizing it doesn't have to deal with a caterer back and forth telling them, "oh, no, forget the last order, 50 people can't make it, or increase the order because 50 people unexpectedly decided to attend.
you attend? you bring your food! they'll be plenty!

...then we can sit on folding chairs eating on our plates.

RE: MONEY.. pay at the door when u come with your dish and lovely smiles, lol!
...that would elimate the person organizing it to HAVE TO DEAL WITH EVERYBODY'S MONEY OR LACK THEREOF. ..you know, having to put it out, or retuning it - that's a big headache.

...and for the guys who don't cook - maybe they can bring the liquor, snacks and stuff, and then we won't have to pay for it there.


...and we do have a canopy in case it rains, so there is shelter for the bands if needed, and hey, maybe one of our construction guys could even make 4 panel wooden alcove for them - it sure would help the acoustics!
i'll paint a nice mural on it if needed! (oh shit, did i really just say that?!)

all right - just shoot me, i know. but that's my take.
what can is say? - i'm a true sloper.

..if there's anyone i knew would bring a dish, it was u. i like doin that too. i'll even make my lobster sauce and linguini in a big pan!

it could be like "international day" with everone making their best heritage dishes. (italian, spanish, jewish, portugese, alien...lol)
