OK, I will give my 2 cents worth since I only saw a few answers so far. I will keep reading.

1. A few people can't go if it's in the yacht club because of the over crowding and heat if it is as hot as last year because of their medication and weight. So they will mail in their deposit when the place is decided on.

2. Unless we have 20 to 40 less than last year, it will be too crowded for the yacht club. We couldn't get any seats, me, Carol, Millie, Marilyn, Al & Bob as well as others. We had to stand to eat and later on we finally found seats but had to sit in the alleyway away from everyone else. We only saw people coming in or out. Also, people were soaked in sweat so they tell me.

That's why we need to send the fliers out in order to get deposits. Karen was going to do them over 2 weeks ago according to what was written on the blog. Don't blame me Karen, lol. There are so many new people from our past that want to attend, but they have no information and can't send the money until they know where and how much to send.

OK, can someone else please give their opinion.
We had a poll and more than 70% wanted indoors, so why would we even consider outdoors especially if we can't depend on the weather. Also, only about 50 people can fit inside the yacht club building and there are only 1 or 2 tiny bathrooms.

Now don't get mad at me for giving my 2 cents. You did ask, lol.

Terry, one last thing. You can hold the money orders or CHECKS and just use them to make the deposit. You don't have to cash them. Just a thought. That's what they do with them at weddings.
