I am on the phone with Geri and she is mailing out deposits
for 4 people today, including her brother's.

She said to say hello and will be on the blog when she gets
home in the next few days. She is at John's aunt's house
for 5 days to take care of her.

I emailed her today tell her i send my love and thanks for giving stranz my number

Yeah Brooklyn Day. I remember when they celebrated that when
my son was in school.

Isn't that funny Terry. I couldn't remember the Guardian
Angel's prayer last night. I looked it up on the internet this
am and there it was.

She said that she had a few more emails for me to send the
flyer to, so I will send out the flyer.

Did you see where I wrote that the Perrottis are coming, Rosanne & Mary & their husbands ?? They were on your block, closer to 5th Avenue.

You should be getting money from the Devines, Nardos, and
the Crosbys next week.

I guess the people from Florida are all flying up. But John
and Geri are driving and I think they will stay a week or
more, some time in Brooklyn with us and some in Staten
Island with her friend Cathy & maybe New Jersey with
her brother John.

Is anyone on here ??? Did everyone disappear ??? Joe, how
was last night ?? Did Stacy go ??

Oh well. Anyway, I have about 30 people coming to the
reunion that weren't there last year. I mailed 20 more
flyers out 2 days ago.

Terry, I didn't say that Geri was complaining that the
yacht club would be too hot. I said that she, as well
as other people can't take the heat and crowd if it's
a hot day, lol.

As far as the hall on Staten Island, I don't know if anyone
went to check it out, like Mildred or Carol. I haven't heard
from Mildred in a while and Carol wouldn't go looking for it.

As far as the evite goes, I told Geri that someone sent
one out because of what Anthony wrote on the blog and
that you said to ignore it, so I assumed that you had
sent it, and that we didn't receive it. Nothing else was
said about it and I even asked on the blog and no one
responded.

I am always asking about the reunion because we need some
information and updates on what is going on with it, that's all.

So, if I ask, then someone will post a response and tell everyone
what's going on so far. People are always calling and emailing
me or other people and asking these questions and the only way
I can find out is to ask you, or on the blog, lol.

So, the main questions I and other people have been getting
is how will it be decided which place we have it at, is it a
group decision, and when a deposit will be put down on
a place to secure it. Three questions that I don't really know
how to answer. I can give them your email address, and phone
number, but you would be flooded with emails & calls.

Maybe you can answer it on the blog so the people on here
know how to respond to these people. I know we have another
60 or more people that will send in the money once the place is
decided.

If you need help, just ask. There are so many people in Brooklyn
and Staten Island that will do it, lol. I know your schedule is packed
and your days are full with all your running around, lol, so I don't
want you to be overwhelmed for sure.

SO, INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW. LOL.

Janet, No!!! Twiggy emailed me and said that she mailed it out by accident. I was just saying that to tell u I did not send it out. Maybe I missed understood u that she(Geri) did n not want to be in the heat. I thought she said it. got ya now....
No I am lucky i can do what I do on here. Evite I would not know where to begin. Honestly I thought maybe u spoke to twiggy and that is why she sent it out. Andddddddd I think Milled and Carol went to check it out. (
the HALL) she emailed me a few times asking me about the place and since u guys are all good friends I thought u knew she did that. I think she got alittle annoyed at me when I said don't u guys trust me and she said what guys it is me. Funny that her and Carol went to check it out (I Believe) It is like so many people are involved and it is very confusing when people are getting 2 or 3 fliers and an evite also which was sent out in error.
I will need help for the reunion and I will call Carol and a few when the time comes. buttttttttt as far as the hall it is like no one trust my judgement so people have to check it out.....If anyone else wants to check it out it is 396 Hylan blvd The Lebette Post I believe u can look on the com puter to see it. (I THINK) Millie said it only hold 200 so I will check it out.
It is a reunion not a friggin 150 dollar a head wedding. This is for the people who are having a problem with what I am doing. (and this is not meant for u Janet so don' t take this the wrong way) It is for the people that don't trust my judgement. Last year no one had a problem and it went so smoothly except for the friggin hot dogs..lol

Terry, I called Mildred and she said that you told her to check
it out, so she did since she said you told her that you didn't
remember how the place was. Carol did not go. They don't hang
out, lol.

As for the flyers, I told you that I would send them out to the
list and you said fine. I don't know why other people would
send out different flyers. I definitely didn't receive any other
emails.
As far as people trusting your judgment on choosing the place,
being there are over 200 people going, make it a group decision.
Just see what the majority wants. From the past evite, 80% chose
Prospect Hall. So, maybe it is better if you take a quick survey.

If it's a bad decision, they will complain about you, so why take that chance. Give them a choice. While it's not a $150 per person dinner,
money is money, especially when there are so many people involved,
with some out of work. What do think ??

Actually, it may be too late to take another survey since we need to get the deposit in asap. Can you do it tomorrow?? Just give them what you have now. Do you have $500 to $1000 yet??

Terry, it is all the same to me which ever hall is chosen. I don't care. It would just be nice if it is chosen as soon as possible. lol I am sure the rest of the people feel the same, so just do it, lol.

The main difference between the halls are for $15 more per person in one place, it includes Valet Parking, decorated tables, Mat're d, cake & beverages like soda, tea & coffee, and more luxurious atmosphere. Also most likely the alcoholic beverages.

The other one is less atmosphere (Not a problem), we would have to cater the food, get someone to be in charge of keeping the food going, get a cake, stock the bar, hire a bartender and decorate the tables. Is this correct ?
So, we have to take all the pros and cons into consideration.

Let me reintegrate, it makes no difference which hall is chosen. SO don't fret about it, lol. Just get some feedback and hopefully people will give their opinion in the next day or so on this blog.
