Suzie: Richie Spinelli was a friend of my dads, I would guess he was born in the early 30's. My mom is 80 yrs. old so she's been giving me names of neighbors and old friends from the area.

Mary Ann: My brother Larry lives in NY but not Bayshore, I guess it's a common name!!!

Terri, you are so right, I just found a cousin down here in NC, our grandfathers were 1st cousins!!! The families have grown so large over the years that you really do need a family tree these days to keep track of all the cousins!!! Remember back in the day, the families stayed together in one area, now they are all scattered around the country!!!

ok short and simple -
judy - check with her nurse to see if she was classifed as being "ambulatory" at the time of mom's fall. (meaning health-abled for bedrails down)
if not - then chances r strong dat she should hav had the bedrails up by hospital code.

..and u may want to file a formal complaint with the patient rep on dis, and hav it documented just in case...at least it will be on formal record of the mishap.
...and dis could also help to keep the nurses/aides on their toes a lil more when u can't be there 24/7...

Mary Ann, Please give my regards to Florence & Marie Elena! I am sure they both remember me. It seems like yesterday we all lived in the same neighborhood. My mother would go & visit Marie Elana's mom Flory all the time & Florence's youngest son went to school with my daughter. She had some crush on him.... Those were truly the good old days...
