Hi, I haven't been on for awhile, just busy, busy, had the grandkids on Sat night, wouldn't you know they were up bright and early Sun morning at 6:30 am!

Sorry to hear about the death of your friends, that's so sad to lose the young and the older generation, we are losing them so fast. Also, I hope for all of you that have been sick get well soon. I was also suffering with sinus problems here and there and checked pollen.com and (bingo) it's the RAGWEED POLLEN that's causing everyone here to get sore throats and sinus related problems!!!

My cousins are coming to visit from NJ, haven't seen them in a year so it should be fun, we love talking about our childhoods and all the laughs, etc. I'm the older cousin so I get to answer all the questions of the past, I love it!!!!!!

After reading about all the talented people from Park Slope, I thought I would mention that my brother plays the drums, his band plays at a resort in Hunter Mtn. NY; he's been playing drums forty-one yrs.

Oh and I forgot to welcome Claudia.....WELCOME CLAUDIA.... I lived on 11th st. and 5th ave, I remember walking to Prospect Park and over to the Avon and RKO on 9th. My mom used to send me to pick up chinese food on 9th when I was a kid. Can't do that today!!!

Jeanette, I think it probably was the Sun Joy because I don't remember an upstairs. Oh, one of my favorites in Woolworths was the ice cream waffle sandwich for 25 cents!!!! My mom's friend saw me sitting in there once eating one of those and she ratted on me. LOL

One day, I accidently ran into and knocked over the pizza boys delivery bike while I was roller skating and the guy chased me yelling, I'll never forget that, I got out of there fast.
