Janet .....read up on what the Doctor thinks it is ...and what he wants to do!
My Dad has Macular Degeneration (however its spelled) in one eye....and a cataract in the other. He goes to the same Doctor as you and also a Greek woman Eye Doctor on 75st. I remember him getting lazor in one eye ....just not sure why? But, I asked a few people ....beforehand ....and they said they got worse after a few lazors....so try and research it beforehand. He also takes vitamins for the eye ....everyday ....I cant remember the name of it ....but my Sister would remember!
