The Prayer that I played for My Dad's funeral I love that song and it makes me cry when I hear it. (cause I miss My Dad) I always love hearing it even though it makes me sad.

One other thing . If u listen to the words it is perfect for a Parent and child or just anyone u love that prays that u will be alright.

Very disappointed they did not sing Sweet Judy Blue Eyes....Waited all night and thought it would be the last song and it was not. The concert was great and brought back alot of wonderful memories. thought of Gay Coen and my Dear Franny Bruno as they sang their songs. Bitter Sweet for me tonight. Had a great time with my honey and a big thanks to my kid for the tickets. Greatly Appreciated

hope al's concert went just as well. Sorry I missed it. Next Time

Judy ...thanks for asking ...My Mom thank God is the same ....she sings alot and she is so content in her own surroundings. She walks back & forth all day.....as much as I feel I would want her here with me ...that would be the worst thing for her. My Dad has his routine every day .... and my Mom looks for him when he is out of sight. Dementia is horrible. He took the mirror off the bureau ....cause to my Mom it looks as thou there is another person there. He put the TV on a shelf closer to the ceiling ...because my Mom knocked it on the floor. He also changed all the doorknobs so they all lock with a key. I just wish he wasnt so stubborn and would just ask for help...it would make things so much easier for all of us.....instead he pushes us away. I try not to mention this too much ...cause it breaks my
heart.

...ahh, the stoop! i don't buy much artwork, but one of the few things i did buy was a sketch of a brooklyn stoop with people just hangin out on the steps! luv the brooklyn ways...

...mom's actually gonna start her treatments all over again, geri.

tests showed her numbers high and the tumor enlarging since the doc put her on a maintenance program - so he is starting it all over to try and get it under control.

judy and sue - white light around u, ur moms, and family during dis time of illness. we all wanna do, do, do when it comes to caretaking, but sometimes we just can't can't can't for watever reasons, and just hav to place it all in Gods hands...

Hi Terry, Janet, Suzie, Debbie, Patsy, Helen, Festina, Geri, Maryann, Jeanette and everyone else.

Suzie - My heart breaks for you...it has to be so hard to see your mom that way....we are going through that now, but in our case (and I thank God everyday) that it is only temporary......I guess we just never asked or was never told that she would be this way after surgery......sometimes she can't even speak three words in a row and then other times she can hold a whole conversation with us......well today is her last day of radiation....so maybe without having to get transported to the hospital for that and then going to rehab, she won't be so tired...right now all she wants to do is sleep, she is not eating again so thats always a problem....we are just taking one day at a time....

Suzie - I will keep your mom and dad in my prayers and hope that she has her peaceful days with your dad......

ONCE SHE STOPS THE RADIATION SHE PROBABLY WILL FEEL ALOT BETTER. IT MAKES U TIRED AND WHEN U R TIRED U DON'T FEEL LIKE EATING. STILL IN MY PRAYERS. HANG IN THERE U AND YOUR SISTERS. IT WILL BE BETTER. I SEE BRIGHTER DAYS AHEAD. LOOK AT MY MARIE STAGE 4 COLON CANCER AND SHE IS WAITING FOR ME TO GO SEE HER AND GET HER TO GO VISIT ANOTHER FRIEND. PRAYERS REALLY DO WORK.
