a short story:
when my mom went to docs 5 years ago just for a check-up - he said to her - "we're calling an ambulance for u right now, u need a quad bi pass immediately!"
she responded..."but tomorrow is palm sunday and i hav to make the gravy, let's do it monday!"

yup! gotta luv them!

she needs not to be alone, maybe u could find someone to shack up with her, someone to keep her mind busy. it's not good for her to be alone after havin a mate all her life.
either dat, or inform the church to keep an eye out for her, pay her visits now and then, after all, it is right across the street from her.
don't they hav a community friend program or something like dat for the shut ins and elderly. i'd look into it if i were u. it would be good for both of u, her for company, and u for peace of mind.

how bout gettin her wat i got my mother, the life alert button.
it pays just knowin she's not alone and connected to a lifeline.
it's only 35.00 a month, well worth it!

Yesterday morning at 8:15 i'm having my coffee and my doorbell rings.....Con Ed....I had to run and get dressed!!! Today I have my front door open and I see two me coming up my stairs and a giant moving truck outside!!!! Thank God I had the door locked he almost walked in my house...........they had my address but a different name.......now I'm locking everything, I'm freaking out!!!
