Back in the day ...we would sit on the stoop after having dinner.....I would love to see my Mom talking with Dottie DeAngelo ....We would give Dottie the eye to keep talking to my Mom ....so we could stay out later.....LOL
That's funny Suzie, I remember those hot summer nights and
one of the things I miss about B'klyn, sitting out at night and not getting bit by mosquitos!!!!! I could hear Mr. Softee coming down the block, hey kids, get your change ready!!! LOL
Oh yeah, we would squeeze the whole family in the kitchen, some would sit, some would stand and the little kids sat on their parents laps and sipped their coffee, that's how I became a COFFEE DRINKER!!! LOL
THATS WHEN KIDS DID NOT STAY ON THE VIDEO GAMES AND COMPUTERS AND IPODS ALL THE TIME. WE USED OUR IMAGINATION WHEN WE PLAYED AND WE WERE ALWAYS INVOLVED IN FAMILY THINGS.

francescaTHANK YOU, THANK YOU, for prayers and support. I was kind of
feeling out there on my own this morning. And very scared.
I FINALLY, just got the call that the girls are fine. I just about passed
out. This year I was scared and feeling lumpy :-(
Blood work is great, just extremely deficient in Vitamin D, another
prescription... I probably should go out in the sun more...
Love to all and thanks again. I have a happy headache from crying.
So I'll catch up with you soon.. Ciao for now!
Patsy, the weather here sucks too. It started raining last night and
the pool water keeps rising... Poor Liz and Alan, it took them three hours
to get home in the rain.
Lyn, my Joy - Lizzie looks just like your mom. God love them both!

old goat in flTerry- Thanks for the pics of Bunny & Debbie. Coincidence, I am going to see my sister Dorothy over the weekend. She will remember Bunny very well. Will bring the pictures with me. My sister has had bad news following removal of her Ovaries etc:. Your pictiures and the ones I took in Brooklyn on our trip may help get her mind off things not so pleasant.
Meanwhile my wife Carol & I have had good news following some of our recent tests. My two Cancers, Prostate & Bladder, seem to be under control & Carol's Colorectal Cancer is no where to be found! Carol gets severe digestive attacks from her operation & treatments and she gets Migraines but the big "C" seems to have left her. Congrats to Franny on her good news.
To add to the games we played: Buck Buck how many horns are up(Johnny on a pony)
Ringo Leavio, Kick the can, Did any of you cook "Mickeys" at the curb. Real sanitary considering what the horses (and some of the kids) did in the street. OLD GOAT
