HI TERRY !!Thank you for the compliment, and yes, people through the years did say that I looked like Michelle Phillips You mentioned seeing me on the the bus with my friend....you must mean either Linda Boragi or my other close friend who I went to St. Joseph's High School with in Downtown Brooklyn, Theresa Otero who eventually married a Bobby Costello. BTW, I'm still in contact with Linda and speak with her just about every day. She lives in Bay Ridge with her boyfriend. So what is your maiden name?? I gather we didn't know each other personally then...kinda just from afar, huh? Where did you live? I lived on the corner of 3rd St. and 8th Ave. I remember Michael McGlade coming to my house a few times...he would tease me all the time and use to drive me crazy He was a cutie though. I'm sure when I tell Linda about you she'll remember David Sherman and refresh my memory....that name is so familiar to me. Did you know my brother? They called him "Ellie"? How about Jimmy West?? My brother eventually married his sister and had a child with her. They are now divorcesd. Anyway, so glad I stumbled on this site ...I'm sure we'll remember more people as time goes by. linda will absolutely remember. she was so wonderful to visit david when he was very ill. just know u from being on the bus going to high school. maybe met u once with probably theresa. thought u were going to take my boyfriend away lol joey przybyski is like a brother to me. he is my son's godfather and we still are like family. he is the one who speaks to all the guys from your neighborhood. the guys you hung out with. bobby costello was he tall. i remember going to see rosemary's baby and i was young, with a bobby He was tall and had dark hair. There was Bobby colly and another Bobby and I think it was him. Anyway have a great day and thanks for the memories of 7th street and that great group of people. 1 young, fat opossum
8 sweet potatoes
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. sugar
Salt

First, catch a 'possum. This in itself is excellent entertainment on a moonlight night.

Clean opossum according to OPOSSUM INFORMATION.

Be sure to wash 'possum thoroughly. Freeze overnight either outside or in a refrigerator. When ready to cook, peel the potatoes and boil them tender in lightly salted water along with the butter and sugar. At the same time, stew the 'possum tender in a tightly covered pan with a little water. Arrange the taters around the 'possum, strip with Bacon, sprinkle with thyme or marjoram, or pepper, and brown in the oven. Baste often with the drippings.
