Hi MaryAnn L.....say hello to your Mom from me and tell her I used to work at The Greater on 9th & 5th for 16 yrs back in 78....maybe she remembers the Bank......I was born and raised on 17 st between 5th & 6th ave....on the park side ....there was a big Family named the Spinelli's about 15 kids ...they lived across the street from us.

I HAD TO RUN INTO BKLYN AGAIN ...AND NICOLE WANTED TO GO TO ROLL & ROAST (SHEEPSHEAD BAY)......ON OUR WAY HOME.

THIS GUY PULLS UP TO US AT THE LIGHT..... WITH HIS WINDOW DOWN AND TELLS ME TO ROLL MY WINDOW DOWN....SO I ROLLED IT DOWN JUST A LITTLE TO HEAR HIM!

HE TURNS UP THE MUSIC IN HIS CAR AND STARTS SINGING THIS SONG.....
HE PULLED UP TO EVERY LIGHT AND STILL SINGING ....WAVING HIS HAND AND PRACTICALLY OUT HIS WINDOW.....NEXT LIGHT ....I WENT IN THE LEFT LANE ....AND HE IS IN THE FAR RIGHT LANE .....MIND YOU STILL SINGING THE WORDS THROUGH THE CAR IN BETWEEN US .....I STARTED TO MAKE A TURN ....AND HE YELLS NOT YET ...THE SONG AINT FINISHED!!!!! THAT WAS MY LAUGH FOR THE DAY .....BUT HE REMINDED ME OF YOU WITH THE MUSIC AND THE WORDS!

TERRY: I just spoke with LInda and she remembers David very well. She visited him in the hospital before he passed away....my condolenses by the way. She said David and she and Raymond Walsh were like best friends. She wrote to David when he was in the service and he would sign the letters "love from your brother David". Also, check this out....what a small world. My father (Al Carlson) use to work at Benny's on 9th St. selling lotto tickets and David's Mother and he were very good friends. She would spend a lot of time talking with him there everyday. How bout' that, huh??? Anyway, that's a nice picture of your family ....David definately looks familiar, but not enought to bring back any memories per se'. Anyway, Linda wanted to know what your maiden name is?? She's glad we connected and she says that there's going to be a big reunion in the near future ....I'lll keep you posted about that. Hi Suzie, So kind of you to ask, my hubby is doing fine, the swelling in his legs and feet went down. My X is not doing well, it could be anytime now, his sister is a saint, I swear, I don't know how she does it - going to the nursing home twice a day and she is a breast cancer survivor, she just completed chemo and radiation almost one year now plus has knee replacements.

Richie Spinelli was my dad's best friend, he was from 27th st across from St. Rocco's. Maybe Judy knows the family.

Did you know Frances or Joey Napoli from 17th street?

Hope you enjoyed the car ride with the music blaring from the guy in the next lane!!!!! LOL

Terry, nice photos of you, the girls and the guys. Your son is smart and will excel at whatever he does, that's great.
