ok, getting ready for mass. toniann is serving 9 :00 mass and the bishop is visiting our parish..big event here last night, the bishop came to ordain a new pastor, than a big dinner in the school, cars towed away, (people ignored the no parking signs) ... it was some event...
toniann, next week will be celebrating her 6th year anniversary with o.l.a. church as an altar server...so pround of her..:)

A little old lady was walking down the street dragging two large plastic garbage bags behind her.

One of the bags was ripped and every once in a while a $20 fell out onto the sidewalk.

Noticing this, a policeman stopped her, and said, "Ma'am, there are $20 bills falling out of that bag."

"Oh really? Darn it!" said the little old lady. "I'd better go back and see if I can find them. Thanks for telling me officer.."

Well, now, not so fast," said the cop. Where did you get all that money? You didn't steal it, did you?"

"Oh, no, no", said the old lady. "You see, my back yard is right next to the new Cowboys Stadium parking lot.

On game days, a lot of fans come and pee through a knot hole in the fence, right into my flower garden.

It used to really tick me off. Kills the flowers, you know. Then I thought, 'why not make the best of it?

So, now, on game days, I stand behind the fence by the knot hole, real quiet, with my hedge clippers. Every time some guy sticks his thing through my fence, I surprise him, grab hold of it and say,

'O.K., buddy! Give me $20, or off it comes.' "Well, that seems only fa ir," said the cop, laughing. "OK. Good luck! Oh, by the way, what's in the other bag?"

"Well, you know", said the little old lady, "not everybody pays."

See you all next week... Taking some R&R at my friend Rosie's house in Palm Coast.... After that I have to keep my ass home for a while & catch up on everything... Have a wonderful day! XOX

clotilda used to be on every day on the dailyslope and just dropped off and never came to the reunion. i always loved when nilda acevedo and clotilda would come on.

Slept late today....my back is killing me....I knew I would pay today, running up and down the stairs all day at my moms....

Terry- I can't believe Josephine is in my moms old room...that is nice because her roommate was very nice and no body ever came to see her...so at least she was see Lori all the time....

Debbie - Have to tell you something fast, my mother, (like she couldn't wait until she settled in) she had me and my sister sit down and list all the birthday's or anniversarys, etc. she missed while she was in the hospital and all she talked about was your Aunt Rosie, OMG I feel so bad I missed the wake, she said, "we were all like family when I was growing up"...that is all she talked about....I don't remember even telling her, because I did not want to upset her, but I guess my sister Laura told her....she feels so bad....just wanted you to know.

OK....I had another crazy night .....and sat in the truck with Nicole till Vinny got home.....which was 4 am. I was washing Nicole's uniforms at 2 am ......and came back on the computer for a little while.....waited 15 mins ...and when I was walking down the stairs .....I could see inside the laundry room ...and the dryer door was open and her socks were on the floor......so I shut and locked the door .....to come upstairs ......woke Nicole up ....and sat in the truck for 2 hrs.
Vinny ....thinks this is funny already! He starts telling Nicole ....stories of how Ghosts come back that it could be the Family that owned this house 16 yrs ago......mind you no one died in here......the owner a retired Fireman ....died while crossing the street in Cape May about 5 yrs ago.
Terry ....I just had to share this ....cause I was gonna start texting people to stay up with us at that hour .......LOL

Just kidding .....the next time ....I really have to dial 911....it would be quicker!

Hello everyone. I had a busy day yesterday. It was the first high school game and I had to do all the still photography. It went well, I only came close to being tackled once.
In the morning I spoke to Jimmy Catalano and he assured me he is well recovered from the stroke. He was getting ready to go to their regular card game with Jamesy Oliva. I asked him to give Jamesy my number so I hope to hear from him soon. I then had a long conversation with Dominick Bruzzese. I first found his brothe Nicky on Facebook and after he accepted my Friend Request I sent him my emaill address and phone number and asked him to forward it to Dominick. We had a great time talking about old times and as soon as I mentioned the reunion he said he had to come. Knowing he was a classmate of Terry's I told him ghat was who he needed to speak to. So now due to Terry's kind heart we have another great person coming to the reunion.
Maria Vola was Boobsie"s brother Johnny Vola's daughter. And Clotilda is going crazy trying to figure out what she needs to do to come to the reunion. Sorry again Terry, I told her she needs to speak to you.
Maybe next year we need to hold the reunion at Central Park or Prospect park or I forget the name of that big park in Staten Island. Judging from all the warmth in the hearts of the people on this blog these reunions will only continue to grow. Then we need to figure out how to form a "Reunion Committee" so that Terry is not carrying all the weight. We need to set the date early and we all have to cooperate by getting our money in on time. The only reasons I was so late registering is because I just found this web site on August 29th and was afraid to ask Terry because I could see all the pressure she was under. Terry's kind heart won't allow her to say NO. Terry said she has a sister who is real tough so maybe next year Terry can put her in charge of approving requests.

you will have to bear with me. I'm a little lost. I don't know which way to turn. I feel so frustrated. and sad. gosh, me... Tish the dish, always the party, loud mouth Irish chick from Jersey City, is now so sad, and quiet. where did I go? I want me back. but I'm gone now. that sucks too.
I hate Sundays, so I won't write long. but, thank you for those notes from that lady.... she was so kind. the kindness of strangers blows me away. I just can't respond, or I will have to talk more about feelings, and then, it leaves me here, for hours afterward, crushed. totally crushed and it is a pretty bad scene.
please tell your prayer group that I am so very grateful for their prayers and for thinking of me .... I'm hoping since I cannot bring myself to go to Mass, that God will forgive me and that HE will give me the strength I am so desperate to find. I need it for my other 3. that is plain to me now. I see that they are waiting for me to turn the corner, and I just cannot....so, not good.
