I still can't win the fight over Staten Island vs Staten ALLEN, it drives me crazy. Sorry, guys, like I said I've been gone a long time but people continue to make fun of MY B'klyn accent down here especially when I say COFFEE!!!!!!!!!!! hi again.. my kids all just came home from san genarro's feast.. they ate at pizano's (sp) rest. in little italy. they had a blast at the feast..tonite was the last nite.. toniann came home with a hoodie that says 'italia' in our colors of italy...

and I are starting to get jealous.

I have been trying to find Patricia Manzione for the longest time and now I see Robert Manzione is a cousin. Patricial and I were best friends until I moved away from 20th street in 1964. I have been trying to get on this blog but am unable to register. Maybe this quick reply box will help/

I am so excited that I finally figured out how to get on this blog. I remember Terry Angelo and was in St Johns with Carol Miele and am best friends with Marilyn Horan and know all the Horans for a million yrs.
I lived at 257A 20 street and also knew Lucille Decanio who lived closer to 5th Ave on 20th street with my cousins Donna, Rita, Gail and Janet Perrotti.
I lived on 20th street from 1951 until 1964 and went to St johns for 8 yrs, graduated in 1963, and have 4 younger bros and sis, Tommy, Mary, Theresa and Anthony.. Anyone remember us? I enjoy reading about all the old memories from back then.

Our roots go very far back on 20th st. My grandparents Rose and Pasquale Perrotti came from Italy in 1903 or 1904 and bought the house at 257A 20th. It was in the family until about 10 yrs ago when my cousins Elaine Perrotti (Costello ) and Jimmy passed away. She was the dtr of Rocco and Blanche Perrotti who lived in the house many yrs after I left.
