nikki actually asked me last night if i would bring her a corsage today with all the candy hangin from ribbons...remember them?
i used to carry dis tradition with my kids when they were small, and i was touched she remembered.

she said everytime she asked a florist to do dis, they say they don't...
i said next time bring the candy there, then ask them to do it.
she didn't know dat was a park slope tradition only..in fact, u can't even find a graphic on it on it internet, lol.

i hope she carry's it on with her kids now.

was a nice day yesterday with the kids, gina made "gravy" lol, had fresh ricotta to put on top of the "macaroni" and a delicious eggplant parm. she turned into a good lil cook my daughter, but they both cook good.

mom's feelin better, just gotta see if she can keep her chemo app't tomorrow due to the cold she has...

glad u had a nice time at the old fashioned block party patsy, and jeanette, i know dat feeling of ridin in a convertible with the heat blastin - i used to do the same thing! but it was fun.

mornin debs..mom said she feels betta, she seemed to hav fought it well under the circumstances, just gotta see if she could still keep her app't for chemo tomorrow now...the doc finally called me back dis morn bout her, said her doc isn't in today, and will see if the other doc will see her...thanks for askin.
