I was born in the MID 60's Ant but i DO agree with what you are talkin about here...things seemed so much simpler back then. With all this technology we have lost the PERSONAL touch. PRESS 1 for this...PRESS 2 for that...PRESS 3 for the other thing. I press 0 to try to get a human to take care of me. Know what I mean?

There is a place down here called 'Cracker Barrel'. It's kinda a country store that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a lot of the candy that was around when I was a kid in the LATE 60's and 70's. I take my kids there and let them pick some stuff out and then I grab MY favorites. It aint cheap but worth every penny(dollar).

I hope so Michael....I know how hard it is for me I can't even imagine how she's feeling. He probably won't be leaving for Iraq til December......it's going to be a long 14 months!!!

Debbie, have a good time tonight, you guys need each other to lean on, your brother will appreciate you for staying close to his wife.

This weather is nuts, I had sandals and short sleeves on Sat and now it's in the 40's, I couldn't get the heater going fast enough in the car when I left work!!!!!

Stay warm Jeanette! I don't think I'm ready for the cold, sure got a taste of it today!

All us kids dunked especially that entenmans crumb cake, we learned it from my dad but at times, he did it a little different, he made mush by putting all the cookies in his coffee cup!!! Nice memories, it was always a joke in our house, at least we can still laugh about it now.

yeah!! well that bag of candy u got from the reunion was not 10 cents. All that penny stuff is so expensive now .

maryann my father did the same thing, made mush in his coffee, then had the second cup clean. lol

the temp droped fast here, to fast, it dosent give your body time to adjust. that new england weather for you. !!!!!

Captain Lou Albano Dies at 76

Captain Lou Albano, the legendary and colorful pro wrestling coach who made memorable cameos in several Cyndi Lauper videos, died Wednesday at his home in Mount Vernon, NY, according to several wrestling sites, including PWInsider.com and PWTorch.com. He was 76.

On Monday, his family told the Miami Herald that Albano had been placed under hospice care for an undisclosed condition. They made it clear it was not cancer, though Albano suffered a heart attack in May 2005
