I have white bannisters but I have wood around it and on the steps and they are a little lighter than my wood floor......

yeah i said that to suzie today they always make fun of me that i have so many cousins in the old neighborhood. Both sides of my Dad's family came from the neighborhood. Both of my Dads grandparents lived there so i have alot of cousins.

so do you think he can stioll put a golden oak stain over what he did ...or Im gonna screw it up?????

Suzie...If he put the shiney shellac shit on I don't think you can restain it...I could be wrong.....

Sue, ok, now I understand why he didn't come back yet. Its going to be a bit of work to correct it. Both coats of satin poly have to be sanded off before he can apply any stain to match the floor. He should have given you a test sample as I said earlier, it takes a little time, but everybodys happy in the end.
Its taking a long long time to post...might even be my computer...sorry

Ohhh forget it ...I just had the carpet layed down...he's gonna ruin that now ....he did say he's gonna put clear and it will match the floor ...thats why I said OK....plus ...he is paid in full!
