Hello Brooklyn,

Wanted to share with you that Child's Play NY is opening registration for Spring and Summer Acting!

Spring after-school classes for ages 4-6 are registering now for a start date of April 13th. Kids act on their imagination in "Story Play" class held Tuesdays in Carroll Gardens. Campers build characters and create stories together by tapping into their own intuitive ability for fantasy play. Children’s literature provides the springboard for their own stories while they are taught the fundamentals of acting.

Summer camp for ages 6-10: Each week is a different session so the kids can immerse themselves in their area of interest. Acting for the Camera, Let’s Make a Musical and Shakespeare Players are just some of the exciting focuses. The work culminates in a performance where campers get to share all that they have accomplished in one week. For ages 4-6, “Story Play” is offered weekly throughout the summer.

Sessions are at Packer Collegiate Institute in Brooklyn Heights and Area Yoga in Carroll Gardens.

Child’s Play NY has gotten glowing reviews from Parents Connect, Koddler and others. The Founder and Executive Director of Child’s Play NY is Jocelyn Greene. Jocelyn teaches and directs at the Packer Collegiate Institute and the Berkeley Carroll School. During the summer sessions she is joined by guest teachers and performers who share their passion and expertise with the kids.
