Sorry we are finalizing the Menu. Working out final recipes with my husband and costs with our food purveyors. I dont want to post and then need to increase prices


We will have the menu on the website & in our store front window by christmas eve

FYI- We will be Homestyle Comfort Food ( Ie mac n cheese, veggie burgers, classic & veggie lasagna, soy hot dogs, chicken in red sauce, pasta w/ shrimp, mashed potatoes, etc, etc + bunch of breakfast food, bunch of panini's) and good espresso drinks


Also, in Febuary we will start dinner deliveries ( Clinton Hill, Fort Greene & Bed Stuy)

ah, i see. i mostly just wanted to know if there would be any vegetarian-friendly items on the menu. it seems like there will be. great!

Joe and I want to thank everyone who came out today and joined us for the brunch. Everyone who came by were so nice, polite and understanding about the 1/2 hour delay

We are guestimating 250 people dropped by, we had a lot of fun and plan on making this a yearly tradition

Next year brunch will include coffee, tea & espresso drinks~ our machines were delayed and wont be installed until next week

I am making a personal apology about the mashed potatoes- last night sitting over a bag of 200 potatoes with the potato peeler in hand ~ I made the executive decision to serve boxed. The flavor wasnt bad but I added to much milk and the consistancy was too
watery.

We are officially opening January 18th with FREE WIFI and hope to see ya all soon

I did not have the opportunity to come out today, but I wanted to say I greatly appreciate the apology about the food. Although I'm sure it was fine, I think it takes a serious set of cajones to come out and say that you admit something wasn't up to par in front of such a discriminating audience. It gives me great faith in this place, and I now feel that I would be served as well as you, the owners, would like to be served.


Ok that was kind of sappy but its refreshing to hear of an establishment where people take pride in their work and food. I've heard so many horror stories about places where management doesn't give two shits about people's grievances.

I second that congratulations and that being impressed with the apology.

If I could make a suggestion for next year's brunch, though? The sausage and chicken were great, but perhaps having a few items from the regular menu available might be good. I went not just for the "woo, free food" aspect, but because I also wanted to sample some of what the regular menu was like (I've especially got my eye on the "giant fig newton" sandwich). Might be something to try for next year.

FYI-
The chicken in balsamic reduction will definetly be offered as one of the nightly specials. It might even make it onto the regular menu

The sausage is on the menu. It is SQ2 Banger & Mash- We are experimenting with Turkey VS Chicken Sausage but we will offer 3 varieties of Banger & Mash-Chorizio, Turkey or Chicken and Soy
