Local Lounge - Dancing Drinking — Brooklynian

Local Lounge - Dancing Drinking

bewitched
edited November -1 in Prospect Heights
I want to go out dancing/drinking locally, in PH, PS or a close by neighborhood. Something with a Lower East Side feel, more lounge than club but nice atmosphere. Music: funk, world, reggae, maybe a little electronic, preferably nothing top 40s. No cover charge even better.

Suggestions?

I like The Royale on 5th Ave and 13/14th, but it's pretty dead during the week. There's Five Spot on Myrtle and Washington too and perhaps Sputnik...err somewhere near Pratt.
  • Thanks for the suggestions, I'll look those up. This would be for a Saturday night so I'm not worried about mid-week blah.
  • Franks Lounge on thursdays used to be completely out fo control dancing with live band, but I havent been there in a while.
  • I suggest that new lounge that posted here - Naila's on Vanderbilt and Pacific - I think they have dancing

Let us know if you check it out
