New to the 'hood
Subject: New to the 'hood
'morning,Just moved to PH recently (Park Pl. btwn franklin/classon) from Downtown Brookyln. Found this message board while looking online for listings of places that deliver. Great idea for a neighborhood/community website.
Just wanted to say hello - and ask if there was any 'essential' information that one should be required to know for this area, such as areas to stay the hell away from or is a good place to unwind on a lazy weekend night. :?:

Hi! You would probably find a lot of useful info here, but since you live in Crown Heights (right?), you should also click over to the Crown Heights message board and look around. Here is the link:

Welcome, neighbor!

Wasn't quite exactly sure of the neighborhood I was in, just moved this weekend and well... my brain's mush, esp. with all the damn 'hood names I kept hearing... I'll check out the crown heights board, thanks!
Howdy Neighbor!

I'm in the middle of the block (right by the shuttle). My husband and I have been here two years and love it...though we're moving out of state in a couple of months (anybody want some furniture?)
This board has been a fantastic resource. Keep reading! -
i live further east on park pl. but yeah, welcome to the 'hood. i've been here 4 years, and its such a friendly place that people are STILL welcoming me to the 'hood, almost everyday!

Yeah - Its great that everyone's so friendly.
Also, I choose cake.
Trying to convince my roomate to hop onto the boards and say hello... perhaps she'll see this... -
Welcome to the block. I'm toward Franklin.

Perhaps if the death came with tasty frosting, more would consider it. -
Howdy. I'm on Park between Classon and Franklin, too. We're the last brownstone before you hit Classon. Welcome.

Hi, I live across from the shuttle. Never had a problem and my apartment is very active. Our local restaurants and stores are great (Late Night Liquor Store, Delis, Laundry, Fish N Chips, 5 Loaves 2 Fish?, Pharmacy, etc.). Hope to see you around.
