There's a whole slew of bad intersections here. Vanderbilt, Eastern Parkway and lastly, Washington and St. Johns are probably the worst.

I'm just glad that no one is considering any development which might bring more traffic to the area.
Sarcasm aside, I'm sorry you had to see that, janeb. Obviously, it's awful for the victim, but even witnessing someone get hit will put the zap on your head. I really wish I could get rid of the sight of that bicyclist who was struck in front of the Met about six months ago. -
maybe call 311 about the intersection to see if there are any options for further action. be safe.
