  • It's times like this I revel in living twenty feet from the subway on one end, and working right on top of it on the other.

Of course, not seeing the light of day for seven days straight is definitely messing with my head. It really does need to stop now.
  • I think the rain is kind of nice, makes me excited for fall.

That said, 8 days is pretty ridiculous.

I like a day or two or rain myself, but the darkness is making me feel even more morose than I am normally.
  • 8 days of rain + wind = 1 downed tree in MJR's Ft Greene backyard!
  • Subject: INVEST.

    LL Bean, look into it.

Go to a shoe store such as Modell's, Paragon or Foot Locker & get some kind of waterproof hiking boot or sneaker. Even David Z.

    Stay dry!

Maybe time to get some other shoes, anyone know where one can find size 13 galoshes? That way, I can protect myself from the rain and also James Joyce's passion for Ireland. That was intensely nerdy.

Also maybe Brooklyn is being punished for beating white kids from oklahoma, complaining about the food co-op, suggesting that there are lots of jews in banking, and for not offering good enough gyros.

God likes his Gyros, and maybe he's disappointed in all of us.

Maybe we should build an Ark. An Ark made of Gyros.

Crap maybe I should do less drugs before I start posting at 1:30 am. Less drugs and more gyros.

    mmm.
  • Holy Fucking Shit. I think I just saw the sun. Helios, Ra, Sonce, the Big Yaller Bird. It is the End Times(tm).

    Sun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  • god it's so nice outside. it feels like i'm in a polyphonic spree video. i just walked the entire perimeter of prospect park, very nice.

speaking of which, does anyone know when the drum circles are? I saw the drumming pavillion or whatever, but there didn't seem to be anyone drumming.

incidentally, i self consciously realize that reference to polyphonic spree and drum circles in the same post might have betrayed my inner hippie. how very un-hipster (or should I say, un-vintage t-shirt mafia)

I think it's every Sunday afternoon, although I'm not sure if it continues all year (as opposed to just the summer).
