we're looking to spend 4 nights in NY/Brooklyn from the 10th until the 14th of november and I can not find any room available (because of the marathon... no comment).
Any idea where we could have a room ?

Could be slim pickin's... you might want to try places like Marissa Bed & Breakfast on Park Place... I think that the house # is 288, but not 100%.
