Best Drop-Off Laundromat on Vanderbilt Avenue

edited November -1 in Prospect Heights
I live on Park Place near Vanderbilt and have been dropping off my laundry at a place on Flatbush Avenue but their prices recently went up. Which laundromat is best for drop off on Vanderbilt Avenue? Are the prices different at the drop off places are they all the same?

  • The laundromat between Dean and Bergen is the BEST!!! May has never ruined one single thing, she's sweet, it's properly folded and smells good. I just got 41 lbs of dirty laundry done for $24. yesterday. I do always tip her a few dollars, because I'm so grateful for not having to do it myself! Highly, highly recommended. :D

gotta second that. shes done about 10000000 pounds of our laundry in hte past, and its been good 100% of the time. i highly recommend may.
  • I use the one on the west side of vanderbilt between sterling and park, right next to the school. They do a pretty good job, but it's the price that's right- 6 dollars for up to 10 pounds. Sometimes they go way heavy on the fabric softener, but I've asked them and they've toned it down.
  • Seconded on the laundro next to the school, btwn Sterling & Prospect. Even though I now live with at least three other laundros closer to my home on Sterling, my wife and I keep going there for both drop-off and self-serve, mostly because the place is kept *immacuately* clean.

We tend to drop off sheets, towels, and the like, avoid comforters or blankets, they get expensive fast.
  • does anyone ever drop off laundry on washington ave? curious, just in case!

We were going to the one next to Acme Pet Supply, but they don't do the best with folding/sorting, etc. (They fold to the bag, not the item causing me to refold at home) So, I read about May and sje's "she's great" post- Tried May's laundry this weekend. Sje is right- really nice- boyfriend came back with a funny story- she doesn't like cursing. And the clothes were nice-folded and sorted. Big smiles at my house.
    thanks

Best one of all is the one on Grand Between St Marks and Prospect, they even have Pac Man and galaga, open 24 hours a day.
