He looked so f-ing crazy in that video. WTF does this mean?
When you're a Scientologist, and you drive by an accident, you know you have to do something about it, because you know you're the only one who can really help. We are the authorities on getting people off drugs. We are the authorities on the mind.... We are the way to happiness. We can bring peace and unite cultures. Now is the time. Being a Scientologist. People are turning to you. If you are a Scientologist, you see things the way they are, in all their glory, in all their complexity... It's rough and tumble. It's wild and woolly. It's a blast. It really is. It is fun. Because damn it, there is nothing better than going out there and fighting the fight, and suddenly you see -- boom! -- things are better. I want to know that I've done everything I can do, every day... I do what I can. And I do it the way I do everything.

The more I learn about Scientology the more I'm amazed that anyone believes in it. Thetans, engrams, Helatrobus?According to Hubbard, some past traumas may have been deliberately inflicted in the form of "implants" used by extraterrestrial dictatorships such as Helatrobus to brainwash and control the population.

And I'm an atheist so all religions seem unbelievable to me. But this is some crazy sh*t. -

I didn't find the Tom Cruise video scary, just incoherent. I was like, "And the difference between Tom Cruise and the homeless guy talking to himself on the corner is...?"
What I did find scary were the links Carnivore posted about "SPs" and how they treat the mentally ill. I haven't been able to articulate the difference between cults and organized religion, but THAT is it. Organized religion does not require that one cut off all friends and family who are non-members. They also do not explicitly state that those who criticize the religion have no rights at all and therefore any and all acts are permissible against them. Such an attitude you only see in cults.
These people are evil.
My voice teacher got involved with them and now I'm truly frightened for her. -
