Typical Brooklyn couple

  • Huh, well the depiction in the beginning of a couple of hipsters was kind of funny in a completely cliched way, obviously, no comedic talent was necessary to come up with the idea of a hipster sneering at a Barnes and Nobles.

What really puzzles me though is what happens halfway through. Is it suggesting that a typical Brooklyn couple finds a predator hiding behind a bush watching children (the ones the hipsters were looking at a moment earlier) charming?

Or is the suggestion just the result of bad editing?

  • yawn.

I mean, I kind-of laughed because I have the same smug "I've never been to Starbucks" attitude, but the only interesting thing in this video was hoping to see someone I know walk past.

    No one did.

Yeah, I was expecting something a lot better. I like to make fun of myself as much as anyone, but seriously, there was nothing I found worth a laugh.

  • Only white, college educated kids with money from Ohio live in Brooklyn? Wow. Who knew?

The couple in this film does not resemble the Mexican couple I witnessed weeping with joy when they opened up their first American bank account at the Citibank on 7th Avenue and President Street last weekend.
