There is usually a notary in some bank branches or any law firm.

There's one on Carroll Street off 7th towards 8th Ave. It's right after the Chase bank, there's a little sign to the right of the door. I can't remember the guy's name but I used him once before and he was very nice.

There's usually one in Neergaard's drug store next to Citibank.
