Looking for new docs

I'm new to the area and need to find some good docs. I'm shopping for a GYN or general practitioner who's good with women's health, as well as a good overall primary care practitioner. I appreciate any recommendations!

  • Welcome! You should try the search function, or scan the last few pages of the Park Slope board -- there's been quite a bit of discussion on this topic.

From your title, I thought you were seeking
    1. documentary film
    2. Doc Marten boots
    :D

  • Just an FYI I recently went to a doctor at the health center on 13th bet. 6th and 7th and cannot recommend that place at all.

  • Subject: Recommending my ob-gyn

I LOVE my obstetrician, John Brennan of Brooklyn Heights. I'm pretty sure he does general gyn care too. Very small office--just him and his wife, the nurse practitioner, and much better clerical staff than in most medical offices. He's on Clinton Street, accessible via the R train to Court Street. The number is 718-222-3636, if you're interested.
