It was closed when I walked by yesterday between 5 and 6 pm-are they the latest casualty? I have to say-we used to love their burgers-but the last couple of times we ate there-blech!

  • I had noticed that they weren't open in the morning when I had been walking by toward the train lately. I thought maybe they were just opening later in the winter or something. I thought I'd seen the gates open in the evening though but I'm not sure. Haven't eaten there lately but the burgers and fries were always yummy. I hope they haven't closed. If anyone knows anything please post!
  • I wasn't crazy about their burger, but they made a mean breakfast. I hope they haven't closed.
  • Ok-sorry to even start this thread-I should have just called them to begin with.

They are still in business-just closed on Mondays.
  • Tell me more about their breakfasts.
    Cheap? Good?
What do they do best (good homefries?/hashbrowns?)

Cheap and good. It almost goes without saying that I'm a fan of their breakfast meats.

    Here's their menu.

I think that last time, I had pancakes with bacon, ham and sausage.
    Perfect after a night shift.
  • Cheap, efficient, and a menu that has expanded in recent years. An alternative to the Grecian Corner, and, errr...2nd st. cafe! The staff is also tremendously patient with both young and old.
