  • As I have no shame--here's me in my new favorite, the Calvin Klein skinny jeans. Hint: The slightly higher waist prevents muffin top!! Help stop the muffin before it starts.

    skinny jeans

The jeans are actually black, but they were nicely coated with a layer of dog fur at that point and may look lighter. Oh, and Foxy put himself there, not the other way around.
  • haha muffin top
  • heh,

Pics or it didn't happen.

Armchair, I'm using that for everything now.

Coworker: "The wife and I bought a new sofa last week."

Me: "Pics or it didn't happen."

That comment is in almost every thread on digg or reddit that doesn't have a pic.
  • I have no idea what digg or reddit are, should I be admitting that?
  • Courtesy of last week's Project Runway, as reported by Bed-Stuy Social:

Hm...that getup seems vaguely familiar, but perhaps in another color...

Ah yes, how could I forget:

Ah, ok. Now that I think of it, the cashier I had the displeasure to work with last year would have loved an outfit like that. She's sorely missed. (Why is there no emoticon to indicate dripping sarcasm?)

Oh, and I finally started paying attention to the bottom of news articles with all those links to digg, reddit, and technorati. Doh!

All right, this guy annoys me. But not as much as Ricky, a.k.a. Boohoo McQuiverlips, a.k.a. Dumbhat Dude.

    Only if you like surprises.
  • High fashion is pretty ridiculous. I once saw a fashion photo shoot on 5th Ave in Manhattan. The model's ensemble was ten times more normal than that polka-dot getup, and it still stood out next to the clothes the passersby were wearing. Yeah, she looked "cool," but the clothes were all you saw, really.

I take the completely opposite end on this argument. Its just one form of art to me. I know I stick out as overdressed in stores and bars in the neighborhood, but I love exploring clothing and jewelry.

But if its not your thing, that's totally understandable.

I just wanted to raise my hand in support of couture and high end RTW (ready-to-wear).

Oh, and this is very apropos as next week is fashion week. :D

That wasn't a getup. I'm pretty sure he's just carrying a bolt of fabric on his shoulders.
  • wow, this is a dude[/i]
  • I have to say, I liked the pants on that outfit. They'd look terrible on *me*, but I liked the design.
