Slope Music Presents Jazz at OSH

Stephanie Rooker, vocals

Ray Parker, bass

Mark Josefsberg, vibes

Charles Sibirsky, piano

8 pm. $12. Drinks and snacks available.

I am not a shill. I am the pianist's wife but geez many of you already know about my "being kept" status.

This is the first of 6 monthly concert type events to be held at this venue.

The idea is 2 sets and one will be with a singer. The singer Stephanie Rooker is terrific (they are rehearsing in the other room as I type so I can attest to that). So if you are looking for something to do next Fri Nite in the hood come and pay the $12 and eat and drink more than other people and my guess is no one will notice AND you will hear some wonderful music in a really sweet venue.
