Tennis Practice - Hitting Wall — Brooklynian

Tennis Practice - Hitting Wall

Does anyone know where I can hit some balls against a flat wall and work on my shots in the off season?

  • i also really need to know the answer to this.

I live in Ft. Greene right near Brooklyn Academy of Music. And I need to play tennis, against a wall if need be. A friend of mine works at Pratt and we play on their indoor courts, which is great but he's not always around.

And if anyone else has access to courts for some amazing reason and wants to play, please let me know. I'm a decent player.

There are handball walls on Gates at Washington and Park at Washington in Clinton Hill. I've hit at Park in the summer. Felt silly because it's a handball wall and got hassled by the afternoon munchkins "I want to play! I want to play!"

I really, really, really miss the South Oxford Tennis Club. Damn Ratner!
