another mugging
i was working @ saje on superbowl sunday in the evening (i know right) and sometime after 8 a girl came in with cut marks on her face and neck and blood all over her hood. she said she had been stabbed and mugged 30 minutes prior. i'm assuming the time was spent finding a business that was open because most of the stuff around me was closed. the girl was crying and i didn't quite hear the exact corner she got mugged on.
the thing that bothers me i guess is the fact that a pair of cops passed in front of the restaurant an average of every 15 or so minutes that night and this girl could get stabbed repeatedly a few blocks away. what are these guys doing?

The good news here is now there is this blog that this sort of thing can get posted on. It kind of like a group hug and recognition of what happened. Nothing in life is more alienating and depressing than have something horrific happen to you and not even have anyone notice.
Now a lot of people have noticed and the shameful perpetrators of this crime have been held up to public scrutiny. Cockroaches hate sunlight!
