Subject: It's a sexist vote to vote for Obama

I will tell you what is disturbing. You can't say anything against Obama without someone trying to claim you are a racist!
I think we should be picking him apart. He has already lied....a lot, he's endorsed the oil companies and the drug companies. (watch last Sunday's "This Week" with George Stephanopolous, if you don't believe me.) He's smug and he is SO much less qualified than Hillary Clinton. He is running against a "say anything to get elected" campaign and he will say anything to get elected. Watch last Sunday's "This Week" for yourself. Don't vote for Obama if you didn't see the debate Thursday night . There was no comparison in intelligence, savvy, poise or good ideas. He only looked good because he was sitting next to Hillary. By the way, Obama isn't Black, he is only in part African American and he has brown skin. I think to vote for Obama is to announce how sexist you really are.

    If you think folks should vote for Hillary, make an arguement. But calling the other guy stupid, ineffectual, insecure, and lacking in ideas when he clearly is none of those things only serves to make your candidate look desparate.

    And I say this as someone who is not a Barak supporter.

    P.S. Glad to hear that having brown skin and a parent that is of African decent doesn't make one Black. I'll let Essie Mae Washington-Williams know she needs to change her birth certificate.

    Um... using that logic (ie "I think to vote for Obama is to announce how sexist you really are.") couldn't you also say, "A vote for Hillary Clinton is to announce how racist you really are?" Both statements are equally illogical and and a person that would use either is equally as dumb. :-p

    IMO< I think Americans will vote for a balck man sooner than they'd vote for a white woman named Hillary Clinton.

    I have voted in every primary and general election since I registered to vote in 1978. I vote because, as a citizen, it's my right and privilege to vote. I voted for Hillary in the primary because she had more experience and was more definite about her views. I didn't care what color she was or what sex she was, just that I thought her to be the best qualified to lead this country at this time.
    John McCain scares the hell out of me; I think he's going to plunge us deeper into war and financial crisis.
    Obama scare the hell out of me because he keeps saying we need change, but I'll be billy-be-damned if I know what he wants to change and how he's going to do it. He also scares me because the sum total of his political experience is one term in the
    Senate where he mostly voted "present" on issues instead of yea or nay. Any canidate who can't make a decision as a Senator is a canidate who won't be able to make one as President.
    Right now, with the choices I have, I'm just plain disheartened. I may have to vote for Nader. If Obama got either Hillary or, better yet, Charlie Rangel to back him up as Vice-President, I'd vote for him.
