Sepia doesn't have food, but it's right next door to Carl's Place which probably does takeout. or you could go up to Washington first and get an awesome patty at 3Ds or something at the islands.

I've already had one friend/lurker suggest that he's going to stop by Soda tonight. I hope this isn't a big mistake...

Why would he do that though? He's coming out of lurking to go to the old place out of spite?

I think it's a good idea to rotate. We all like Soda, but it's not as if there aren't plenty of other bars in the neighborhood most of have admittedly never seen while going to one place week after week. We'll be back at Soda, just not today. We're having a bit of overload with the place.

I guess I just like the idea of a "standing" thing, now that the time and day of the week are standing. And I don't have any particular attachment to Soda; in fact I'd hardly ever been there before we started this Wednesday night thing. I think it's useful that it's kid-friendly, serves food, and has good enough light for games and knitting.

ETA: Oh, and about my friend. He's not going to the old place out of spite, he was offering to meet me to swap some CDs. So I set him straight. I just mean, might this not seem like a mistake if we get a bunch of comments tomorrow along the lines of "where were you guys?"

Haha we get that regardless! "I was at the table next to the big laughing group with some people that I thought looked sorta familiar...where were you guys?"

what time are people showing up? I have a cold and feel crummy, so I don't feel like going. On the other hand, there is no heat in my apartment, so my other option is to go home, swadle myself and freeze.


German of the Month is definately out, he just started with the cold and feels miserable.

I'm on the fence, this whole Sepia thing doesn't appeal to me.

Party poopers. I was thinking of coming tonight, without any anti-social "friends" in tow. Soda is much closer to me but I really like the owner of Sepia. Well if nobody's gonna be there, I can drink by myself at home! ;-)
