especially his little paws and ears.

NB: my dog is a 10-lb havanese, as pictured in my avatar to your left. but he does go outside, a lot. not one of those posh indoor dogs. or rather, he's a liberated posh indoor dog who at times, particularly when he escapes being toweled off, leaves smears of dirt all over the floor (and occasionally elsewhere) to be swiffered, relatively cheerfully, in his wake.

have i gone over the edge?

nah, i have a pit bull

i've noticed the same smell in pretty much every dog, though. i don't think it's breed-specific.

My old dog was a black lab mix, I loved to kiss him on the middle of his head right above his eyes. My friends and I always said he smelled like a tortilla! His paws did smell like fritos though, how can it be so many dogs smell like that?

I wish my pit Ripley smelled good but she has skin "conditions". I swear she stinks 12 hours after she gets a bath, like doggy BO. Plus she's a compulsive licker and chews on her feet. Ick. I love her anyway, though.

My cats' paws smell like fritos. Delicious. Also one of my cats has fur that consistently smells floral. Kind of pretty. Yet, scary.

I love how my cat Penny smells. I often fall asleep with my nose in his fur. Unless he just came out of the litter box. P.U.
