I swear by Marina at Elan, 157 seventh avenue, 718 789 1700. She's the best! Friendly and indeed relatively pain-free. I had some not so great experiences with some of her colleagues, but in general Elan is my fave wax and pedi spot.

Thank you Modoki. She was good. I think it is that slap slap RRRRRRRRIP that does the trick. Definitely RELATIVELY pain-free and fast

Is it ever possible to truly be pain free?

We need a cheap and effective and permanent process. Sigh
