Wireless router for laptop

I'm looking for a wireless router for my Mac Powerbook G4. We've got a Time Warner Cable internet connection.
Any recommendations for a place in or near The Slope that carries them?
I saw some at Radio Shack on 7th Avenue for around $40-$60, but wondering if there are other options.

    I bought a Linksys there a couple years ago for about $70, and it has worked very well - what other options are you looking for? I mean, if you want to buy computer stuff in the Slope but not at Radio Shack, there may be a place but I don't know of one in the Slope proper. If you didn't like the models they had, hop on the train to ye olde J and R, you'll find something you like. There's a Circuit City near or in Atlantic Center, but I hate Circuit City.

    There's also a Staples or OfficeMax or something over by Atlantic Center.

    I've used Netgear wireless routers and Apple's own Airport (both Extreme and Express).

    I have found the Airports much easier to work with.

    So would I have to go to the Apple store to get Apple's own Airport or are there other stores that carry it?

    You can get them thru Amazon, eBay, J & R, Best Buy, etc.
